Well folks, I think it’s safe to say that we’re hooked on vineyard survey.
Flat Creek Estates – Marble Falls, TX
This past Friday, October 25th, our team made the trip out to Flat Creek Estates for their “Grower’s Field Day” presented by the Texas Wine Trail. We met some really great people who are doing interesting things in the realm of vineyard cultivation and management. After listening to the lectures, we gave a demonstration of our quad-rotor and hex-rotor UAVs performing both manual and auto-pilot maneuvers over the vines. We snagged images using conventional photography and our new near-IR camera, in addition to some pretty sweet video clips. Over the next few days we’ll continue to put up more photos from the event. Keep an eye out!
Rick and everyone else from Flat Creek Estate were extremely welcoming to our team. Their property is gorgeous, and the wine unbelievably tasty. If you’re ever out in Marble Falls, you have to make sure you stop by. January from Texas Wine Trail was a huge help to our team as well, and put on a great Grower’s Field Day. A big thank you to all of you!
